How we make HIFY Radar
Methodology, sources and editorial criteria of the HIFY Radar newsroom.
Who we are
HIFY Radar is made by HIFY, a Brazilian AI offensive security company. The newsroom combines automated collection with fixed editorial rules and review by HIFY's security team.
Sources
We continuously track 190 researcher, vendor and media accounts on X, 11 security news feeds and the CISA KEV catalog (known exploited vulnerabilities). So far, 994 distinct sources have been cited in incidents.
- TechCrunch Security
- Cybersecurity Dive
- 404 Media
- The Record
- Krebs on Security
- Schneier on Security
- Risky Business (podcast)
- SecurityWeek
- The Hacker News
- HIPAA Journal
- Infosecurity Magazine
- CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities
Editorial criteria
- Every published fact links to the original source.
- Severity follows one scale: product type, confirmed exploitation or not, and fix availability.
- Exploitation is only "confirmed" with a vendor, CISA or researcher notice with public evidence.
- Duplicate reports of the same case are merged into one incident; the old URL redirects.
- Fixes and updates go into the incident timeline, with date and time.
